Born and bred on the Northern beaches, surfer Kobey was a part of the graduating class of the Diploma of Screen Acting course at Screenwise in 2018. The two years full time course of screen acting only cemented Kobey's passion for the big screen. During Kobey’s training he learned many skills, helping develop him into a well rounded highly experienced professional screen actor. A variety of accents was par for the course however Kobey took to the Californian accent like a duck to water. As well as advanced acting techniques such as Eric Morris and Mamet, the two year course gave Kobey a well rounded skill set including screen combat, ADR, characterisation and the Hollywood three act formula.

Kobey has made many connections throughout the duration of the course. Not only has he made life long friendships with his class peers he has had the privilege of collaborating with upcoming directing graduates from AFTRS.

Kobey has worked on multiple professionally cast projects and has worked intimately with renowned directors such as Denise Roberts, Philip Quast and Ben Matthews.

Kobey has been branded as a blue collar worker and most suits the role of caretaker and leader. People see Kobey as a mysterious, bad boy, teen surfer. The roles most suited to Kobey include Romantic comedies, Teen dramas and soap.
